We have successfully tendered for modernizing public lighting a number of municipalities.
SIA ArkiLED specialist received a training certificate from Photometric & OpticalTesting in England.The training course dealt with measurements of luminous intensity specifically for LED industry. Theoretical and practical aspects of goniophotometry were discussed (its application in near-field photometry), as well as classical measurement mistakes.

We have delivered the final batch of luminaires to one of Riga (Latvia) largest construction projects. The full installation shall be commissioned soon, but the intermediate results are impressive.

within this month alone we installed over a 1000 units of LED street lamps in 6 cities in Latvia. The lamps should save over 50% in energy costs, in part thanks to an intelligent luminaire control technology.The projects have been cocofinanced by the Ministry of Regional Develpment and Environment of Latvia (KPFI instrument)

We are actively involved in government tenders for street lighting and have won the rights to install several cities full of lamps.

We were awarded a contract to deliver and install LED luminaires to Mazsalaca secondary school. A total of 656 luminaires shall be retrofitted or changed to LEDs. The works are shedulded to be completed in September.

We have signed a delivery contract for a large facade installation.Contractual details are confidential - all we can say that the resulting installation in expected towards the end of October this year.

Our team continues working on designs for strategic projects , as well as routine everyday supply of lamps - usual working environment.Nothing global to report yet, but the perpectives look great - including our new contacts in Russian Federation.

February turned out to be a designing month - we are focused on working for our private and public customers, with realization expected in as early as 2013.Additionally , we have teamed up with www.labagaisma.lv - a vortal that helps market our products (currently in Latvian and Russian only, though). We are also proud to inform that the warranty period has expired on Gallery Patollo without major incidents - our lighting solutions have successfully survived the test of time!

SIA ArkiLED participated in REA organized discussion „Par energoefektīvu apgaismojumu ēkās”, (latvian language), as well as hosted our own little seminar for energy efficiency experts, during which we presented our vision of energy efficient lighting in buildings.

Architectual lighting design for two small bridges were competed for the city of Ventspils. thes city plans to illuminate them by Christmas.

We have successfully commissioned modernstreet lighting in Rujiena and Mazsalaca - almost 400 new LED lamps were installed. The new systems saves energy , as well as allows dimming the lamps duing night time. The project was co-financed by the Latvian Climate Change Financial instrument (KPFI).

We are working on lighting design for a foreign client in Tajikistan. Our designers are offering number of lighting solutions for a modern office building.

First lamps are installed in Rujiena. The LED lamps significatly increase energy efficiency of the city street lighting system - they consume less electricity, switch on and off according to the astronomical sunset and sunrise (thus eliminating wastful electricity usage) , as well as dim down in intensity at 01:00 in the morning.

We have won the tender to supply and install LED street lighting for the city of Mazsalaca. The plan is to install almost 200 luminaires with original control solution, which will allow to dim them and control switching on/off via photosensors.

Our specialists have visited the international "Light&Building" fair in Frenkfurt.The exhibition was packed with new lighting products and control solutions, as well as other techniques to improve energy efficiency of the buildings.Compared to previous expo, the LEDs are now almost fully dominating the lighting market street lighting, facade lighting, retail lighting, etc.
